An Shu is a Chinese cinematographer/writer-director born and raised in Chengdu, China. She went to Beijing for college at the Communication University of China. After graduating she worked for Phoenix TV and gained a 3-year valuable experience there as a journalist/writer-director. Later she moved to Los Angeles and completed her Master’s degree in Film Production at the University of Southern California.
She believes — ‘‘Staying passionate, persistent, and true to myself will get me to go through all the difficulties.’’ And she always feels that it’s been an honor to be in the cinema world where talented and hardworking people gather.

在成都，每到秋天，羞嗒嗒的雨，湿漉漉的街道，空气里来一阵又藏一阵的桂花的香气，还有，火锅的味道。高考后离开蜀地北上，去了通州定福庄，在传媒大学完成了本科学业。毕业后，迫不及待地要去外面的世界看看，于是参加了工作。在凤凰卫视的3年里，除了各种新奇的经历，最珍贵的，是结识了一帮现在依旧每日八卦、瞎侃、互贫，又没事儿掏掏心窝子的友人。之后，想去太平洋对岸瞅瞅，是另一片丛林，讲他国语言。2021年，在疫情的洗礼下，一脸懵地完成了南加州大学电影学院的研究生课程。今年，是在洛杉矶的第六年，从不试图去理解什么是“此心安处是吾乡”。
